Maritime Alpha is a young and growing project company started in 2021, we focus on offshore (wind) heavy lifting and heavy transport vessels. We support owners, contractors and vessel operators with vessel mobilisations, ship conversions and temporary deck equipment.

The company is built around founder Frenk Overdijk, a mechanical engineer with experience as Construction Manager, Technical Superintendent and Vessel Manager on offshore wind, heavy-lift and dredging vessels. We work with a small group of trusted specialists, such as naval architects, structural and mechanical engineers, designers and site supervisors.

Together we handle the practical chain from tender support to design, fabrication, mobilisation and demobilisation of ship conversions, temporary tools and grillages. Our job is to make complex vessel projects feel simple for our clients and to stay close to the work until the vessel is back in service.

We are also developing a marketplace for surplus offshore wind grillages and tools, so leftover equipment can be reused between projects.
