Maritime Alpha provides independent, short-term construction and conversion support on offshore vessels.

The company is founded by Frenk Overdijk, a mechanical engineer with hands-on experience as Construction Manager, Technical Superintendent and Vessel Manager on offshore wind, heavy-lift and dredging vessels.

We typically step in during vessel mobilisations, yard stays and conversions when execution comes under pressure due to schedule slippage, scope changes or interface issues.

Projects are approached in a practical, execution-focused manner, with support delivered at yard and project level to stabilise works, coordinate stakeholders and return vessels to operational readiness.

Where required, Maritime Alpha works with a small network of trusted specialists such as naval architects, structural engineers and site supervisors.
